Once again I had high hopes of getting caught up on a lot of shoots that haven’t been blogged. January and February are usually great for that. But then I tend to start on that and somehow end up working on my own projects…my albums for my own family.
I’ve got lots of catching up to do but wanted to share with you another one of my Project Life albums. My 2011 album is my 3rd completed year doing Project Life! (please excuse the poor quality iPhone photos)
(2009 I did it the “traditional” way using Becky Higgins original album for Project 365. You can see it HERE. For 2010 I started doing it digitally, following the same format but waiting until the whole year was complete and having it printed at Shutterfly. You can see it HERE.)
For 2011 I used a template similar to what I had been doing in the past and picked up some filler paper at Designer Digitals. Finally, late this fall I had it printed! What a great feeling to have the whole year in one book in my hands! I’m still finishing up 2012, hoping to get that wrapped up sooner than later! I’m sticking with the same 12×12 layout and using Becky Higgins Clementine Edition.
While trying to wrap up 2012 I’ve also started 2013 (and trying to stay on top of it)! I’m using the Project Life Seafoam Kit available through AC Digitals and love all the new options that are available. There’s a little sneak peek posted above of what I’ve got started.
So please excuse my lack of posts. I’m enjoying this change of pace. I LOVE this way of scrapbooking! I was a traditional scrapbooker forever but life gets busy and I take a LOT of pictures and to be quite honest, this method is simple and just makes sense! It has helped me get organized and stay organized and get my photos printed!
